The mission of this committee is to maintain and, as necessary, expand the buildings and grounds to provide a safe, comfortable and attractive infrastructure from which to reach out to the congregation, community and the world.

The Properties Committee meets monthly on the fourth Monday at 6:00-7:00pm. Please check the Mid-Coast Calendar for the exact date, time and location.

HEY THERE - ALL YOU RETIRED FELLOWS!

Ever want to tell someone what you think about the world situation? Drink the second-best cup of java imaginable? Start the week right by getting out of the house on Monday Mornings? A pretty good joke or two from unnamed sources?

Come meet at Mid-Coast with Bud Cherry, starting Monday, May 9 at 9:00 AM in Fellowship Hall, for the above three reasons AND to lend skills later for a couple of hours that same morning (and each Monday thereafter) to keep our building and grounds beautiful, functioning and safe.

With more and more people using our Church facility it is easy to overwhelm both our custodial staff and those members who are still full-time employees elsewhere. You don't need to be a rocket scientist or an engineer to find your niche; there's coaching (and kibitzing!) by straw bosses who take the lead but need extra hands on deck. And the fun of it all – being useful to Mid-Coast Presbyterian – is guaranteed.

We'll name this elite group at the first gathering on May 9. (We've heard they're called "Old Goats" in some places!) - How about Temple Tigers - Makita Maniacs - Can-Do Crew - Fellowship of the Carpenters - Think about it!

Reserving Church Building Space

The congregation should know that Bob Hohman has assumed the responsibility for reviewing, granting and controlling requests for the use of our church facilities made by those outside our congregation.  Outside representatives should call Bob at 207-373-1343 or by e-mail.

Individuals and groups within our church family still must reserve room space by contacting Barbara Kramer in the church office, preferably by e-mail.
