You and your children are warmly invited to join our lively Church School program. We meet weekly to sing praise, enjoy crafts, listen and learn about the teaching of Jesus and even make some new friends along the way.
We are currently in our summer schedule which means that following the children's story, preschool children through 3rd graders are dismissed for Church School. Children 4th grade and above will remain in worship.
For the
rest of the year,
Church School is available for the following age groups:
Pre-School (3-4 yrs old)
Kindergarten/1st grade
2nd/3rd grade
4th/5th grade
6th/8th grade
Infants and toddlers are welcome in the sanctuary or you may chose to take advantage of the toddler care provided or the “quiet room” adjacent to the sanctuary.
Children are invited to join their families in the sanctuary for the first minutes of the service. Following the Children’s Moment with the Pastor or others they are invited to leave with the Church School Teachers and Staff for their Classrooms. Parents are invited to accompany them and stay for the opening or with their children in the classroom, particularly early in their participation at Mid-Coast. Classes are always open.
The Church School morning begins with an assembly for all children Pre-School through 5th grade where we join in for a song, offering and prayer before going off to our classes.
6th-8th graders are invited to join their class in the Loft as the children leave service following the "Children's Moment". The High School students attend worship service with the adults. There is a Youth Group available for both age groups, JUMP/YMAT
Juniors Unite at Mid-Coast Presbyterian
Youth Ministry Action Team
They meet every other Sunday following service for special activities, devotional study and a meal. Other special activities are planned throughout the year.
Immediately following the service parents are requested to return to the classroom to reunite with their children.

Mid-Coast Presbyterian Church Youth Ministries
YMAT - Youth Ministry
Action Team (9th-12th Grades)
JUMP - Juniors Unite at Mid-Coast Presbyterian (6th-8th Grades)
In support of the bi-monthly JUMP-YMAT meetings members of the congregation are asked to support this critical ministry by preparing a meal to shared by the participants. A simple dish, drinks and treats able to feed approximately 15 would be greatly appreciated and helps calm the raging appetites following the Church Service. Meals may simply be dropped off in the kitchen prior, or directly after the church service, the youth will be responsible for clean-up. A sign-up sheet is hanging on the notice board in the hallway leading into the Fellowship Hall, or contact Rachel Riendeau..
We are dedicated to many missions of outreach to our community and our world, this represents an outreach need right here in our own church, thank you for your support.
