Liturgists

Liturgists are typically scheduled for one month at a time.  Their participation includes the Call to Worship, Prayer of Confession and the Assurance of Forgiveness, and the Old Testament Reading.  We invite worshipers of all ages, male or female, with clear voice to serve the Lord as Liturgist.  Click HERE to request more information or to sign up as a liturgist.

Communion Servers

Five (5) Communion Servers are needed on Communion Sundays – the first Sunday of each month.  Ordained Presbyterian Deacons and Elders are welcome and encouraged to sign up to serve.

Please contact Deacon Ian MacLean to let us know of your interest.

Ushers

Would you like to help greet worshipers on a Sunday morning?  The Ushers prepare the sanctuary for worship - the lights and mic are readied, bulletins are handed out, Friendship Registers are distributed, offering is collected.  Being responsive to people's needs during an emergency is also important.

This is an important way to participate in a vital part of church life

For more information contact Terry or Madge Birch, Usher Coordinators, or just sign up in the Blue Book in Foulger Gallery.

Adult Choir

The music program at MCPC is an important part of the worship experience.

The choir, a group of dedicated volunteers, rehearses Sunday mornings at   9 a.m. before worship.  Special music replaces the choir during the summer months.

Instrumentalists who would like to offer special music or persons interested in learning more about the Choir are encouraged to contact Harriet Tobin, Music Coordinator.
